Welcome to English 373

This blog allows you to post your response papers. They may address a text we have discussed or are about to discuss, a line, a phrase, or a passage that have moved you to a strong response (positive . . . or negative!), or a more general theme that we have been discussing. You may be called on to read this response in class. Each member of the class is required to write 5 such responses (minimum length: 350 words). You may choose when to post them, but this component of your grade needs to be completed by the end of the course (05/06). Please make this forum yours--you may post whatever you like, as long as you remain civil and as long as the material is relevant to our class. You may also post responses to posts by class members; if you like this response to be counted towards the 5 responses you need to complete, make sure that you write at least 350 words.
